Below is a list of some of the best tips from the Woman's Day article "GET ORGANIZED" by Rebecca E. Greer. Plus, I've added some of my own. Hopefully you will find them beneficial in organizing your day.
• Set priorities. Rank items in order of importance and do the most important first.
• Always plan your errands so you do a whole group on one trip. If somehow one item was missed and you need to go back, take something else that you forgot to handle with you, such as; recycling or dry cleaning drop off.
• Cut unwanted calls short by posting a list of handy excuses ("Something is boiling over on the stove") by
Marketing a business can be a painful expense, unless the following mistakes are avoided. Done properly, marketing can be turned from a painful expense to an expense that returns money tenfold and puts you in the top ten percent of all the marketers in the world.
1.) FAILING TO GIVE MARKETING EFFORTS A CHANGE TO TAKE HOLD AND SUCCEED. - Just because a marketing strategy isn't working - doesn't mean it's not good - it could mean it hasn't been given sufficient time to take hold and grow. Give each marketing campaign at least six months. This also doesn't mean you should stick with a bad campaign either.

Are there so many demands on time that you can’t squeeze another second out of your schedule? If so, you have “timelock.” Just as gridlock stops traffic, timelock stops productivity. Here’s what to do to get unlocked:
• THINK of what you want out of life – not how much you can get done. Assess all your activities. If they add to your life keep them. If not, eliminate them whenever possible.
• UNDERSTAND your body clock. It’s irregular and not as uniform as time from a clock. Identify its peak times. That’s when to schedule especially difficult work.
• DON’T CROWD every minute with some task. If you do, tension rises and effectiveness declines.
• SLOW DOWN Don’t be addicted to rushing. Ask, “Why am I rushing? What’ll happen if I don’t?” Know the difference between necessary haste and impatience.
• SUBTRACT An old activity when you add a new one.

STRESS TIP: Next time you’re feeling the stress of a difficult situation, ask yourself how your favorite cartoon character would handle it. This might cause you to pause and chuckle.

A recent survey showed there’s no single success secret. These are just a few ideas from businesses surveyed.
• Customer satisfaction (23%) This was the largest single category of responses. “Do unto customers as they would have it done unto them.”
• Word of mouth/referrals (17%) Respondents regard these important to their success. “Delivering the service and then going beyond expectations yields wonderful referrals. This is the best and cheapest advertisement you can get.”
• Marketing planning and Knowledge (13%) Manufacturing people view knowledge and planning as key ways to gain new business and maintain relationships. “Knowing your customers and your market enables you to deliver the service they want and need.”
• Advertising and promotion (11%) Manufacturing and retail respondent value results provided through advertising and promotion in addition to customer satisfaction and planning.
What is your plan for business success?
Unless it's money, do you really need to save all those items you say " you may need someday?" If old magazines, clothes, shoes, unfinished projects, old eyeglasses, old tires, scrap pieces of lumber, metal, tubing, and other miscellaneous items were money, some people would be MILLIONAIRES. So before you clean those carpets, wash those windows and dry clean those curtains, ask yourself some very eye opening questions. While going through each room, closet, drawer and cabinet make note of the items you have stored away and ask yourself, " when was the last time you used those items?" If your answer is a year or more, or better yet, you can't remember when the last time was when you used that item, then your answer is a good indication that you no longer have use for it. Either rid yourself of any excess items by holding a garage sale, donating to Goodwill, St. Vincent De Paul or donate to your favorite charity or to a specific needy family. With an uncluttered environment you will achieve greater sense of freedom, time to mange your daily life, a better home environment and even a more productive life. So don't put off comfort and efficiency. Start now! The following are a few ideas to put you in control of your home or business, rather than the other way around.
It's a fact, people will generally buy products and services of which they are most familiar. Therefore, marketing a product or service to achieve mass visibility is important to the success of a company. There are several ways to market a companies product or service such as; advertisements in newspapers, magazines, television, and trade publication, or point-of-sale displays, circulars, flyers, direct mail and yellow page ads. Unfortunately, they all cost money. Yet as the saying goes "you've got to spend money to make money." One aspect of Media Marketing, however, can be inexpensive, effective, and can achieve maximum publicity and exposure to enhance a companies visibility. That aspect of Media Marketing is the use of a publicity kit in arranging on camera interviews and comments.
Simply follow these steps and you'll be the one the media turns to for features and interviews.

Once you get a handle on the majority of your negative feedback the next step is to write your goal statement in bold motivational terms; such as “I am the best lawn care specialist in the World,” or “I am the most respected cat sitter in the World.” Being respected, to me, is synonymous with being successful. But to say “I am the best ____________,” in today’s terms does not mean most talented. Being the best could mean most successful in your given field, or most well-known, such as The Dog Whisperer, Cesar Milan. Cesar successfully created a new system for training dogs. His motto is, “I rehabilitate dogs, I train people.”

Just as effortless as it is to worry, positive thoughts must also be made without strain if they are to be effective. Goals should not be a struggle to visualize nor should they cause stress with the mere thought of them. Affirm your goals with adoration so they are non-intimidating or tension creating. If you cannot find it in yourself to feel excitement and love towards the goal you seek, then it is not the right goal for you at this time. You should feel passion for the task at hand.
One of the most important solutions towards achieving a goal is to consistently approach it with care and gentleness until you feel genuinely indifferent to its outcome. When you reach the state of genuine indifference that is when you are truly on track towards achieving that goal.
Time for some fun! The next real solution to help take control and live your best life is through a gradual what if mentality. When we worry about the what ifs we form adverse mental pictures. We then respond to negative pictures as if they were our present reality.

Since our nervous system cannot distinguish between a real experience and an imaginary event, the importance of guarding our thoughts closely becomes clearly apparent. Every belief whether good or bad, true or false was formed gradually without effort, sense of strain or will power. Habits are created in much the same way.

We practice self-condemnation by holding ourselves to unrealistic expectations.

Negative feedback in all its forms, is one of the main causes of procrastination and goal abandonment. But will all its myriad forms how can we begin to identify negative feedback?
Most people you are in competition with are not going to give 100 percent. Reason being many have the same unrelenting negative feedback, emotional sabotage, and failure to plan. What is 100%? Have you ever been so excited about something that you enthusiastically relayed the information in detail only to have your listeners throw you a blank stare? You quickly realize they either are not listening, they don't care, or they are not on board for whatever reason. So why worry about how to be your best?
This is why! Even if you give the best presentation you possibly can you may not receive immediate feedback. It could be days, weeks or even months before people respond. Unfortunately many business people give up by the time
